  2. How many lemon shells? I am totally making this syrup. You had me cracking up when you talked about the rubber (you should have seen the flambeed hot dog I ate tonight; I left it in the oven and forgot, but it was heavenly anyway) pancakes and your husband's fluffy ones, and then you say, Okay, you ate some of the fluffy ones. lol See, you may think you are blogging just for you, but I depend on your posts or we would be eating instant grits. And I won't even get started on the photography, which has affected and influenced me profoundly and deliciously. This is such a great post. It's witty, beautiful, filled with info (who knew that lemon juice would turn Bisquick into gunpowder?), and photos of syrup that are the color of summer itself.
